Kristoffer Opsahl

I’m a software engineer and consultant based in Oslo, Norway.

My work focuses on backend development, distributed systems, and security. I typically work with Java and Spring Boot for enterprise applications, Apache Kafka for event-driven architectures, and more recently Elixir and Phoenix for projects that benefit from functional programming and high concurrency.

I have a particular interest in cryptography and security, which I explore through CTF competitions. In 2025, I placed 3rd at TG:Hack, Norway’s largest Capture The Flag competition.

This blog serves as a place to share technical insights, tutorials, and occasional notes-to-self that others might find useful.
